This recipe contains a variety of legumes and vegetables that are rich in vitamins, fiber and minerals. Which makes it a suitable meal for patients with high blood pressure.

Ingredients:

  • 70gm canned white kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 3 grams of leeks
  • 15 ml of lemon juice
  • 10 ml of walnut oil
  • Assorted fresh uncooked vegetables

Instructions: 

  1. Mix the white beans, shallots, lemon juice and oil in a small bowl.
  2. Then mash with a fork until smooth.
  3. Serve with raw fresh vegetables such as cucumbers, carrots, sugar peas, red bell peppers, broccoli and cherry tomatoes.
