Ingredients:

 

  • 600 grams of young zucchini
  • 250 grams of minced beef
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 can of mashed tomatoes
  • 100 grams of basmati rice
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • ½ teaspoon of allspice
  • A large pinch of cinnamon
  • 40 grams of butter
  • A pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Clean the zucchini, scrape the skin, and cut in half, scooping out each half from the inside with a spoon.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
  3. Cook the rice in salted boiling water.
  4. In a bowl, combine rice, minced meat, tomatoes, half of the melted butter, and spices. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. This mixture is used to fill only three-quarters of the zucchini from the inside.
  5. Chop the garlic and brown it in a saucepan with the rest of the butter. Season with salt and pepper, and bring to a simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Place the zucchini in a saucepan and cover with water.
  7. Bring the zucchini to a boil, then place on a low heat for 45 minutes to an hour.
  8. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, tomato paste and lemon juice are added, and the dish is served hot.
